A Bleg For A Friend

The blogiverse is a strange place.

I sit here in the middle of the night, keyboarding in the dark. When I click the words "Publish Post," things go out "there" into the ether, for all and sundry to read.

As a result of that, we wind up connecting with so many people from all over: People with different viewpoints, different experiences, different lives. I've been blessed in meeting so many wonderful folks who've been regular visitors, whom I've gotten to know.

Some write for awhile and disappear, only to return at some point.

Honey is one of those.

I forget when she first showed up, commenting on these pages. I think she came her via a friend from Belgium, long gone, Aunty Marianne. She is a British ex-pat, and she started her own blog, which, when I learned of her, I read every day. Suffice it to say, I enjoyed my time at her "place" immensely.

Unfortunately, life takes people down different roads, and without spilling the beans here, (you can read them on her pages), things did not go as planned. Honey disappeared for a while, because, I thought, she didn't want to blog anymore.

Well, she's back. With good news and bad.

I know a fair number of folks see these pages and I thank you for visiting. I've mentioned the EMBLOS' health situation some the last week and I appreciate your good thoughts and prayers. Let me say, though, what the EMBLOS is facing is nothing compared to what Honey is going to be fighting.

I ask that each of you remember her in your prayers and in your thoughts.

And go and say "Hello" and wish her well.

I sometimes think of the people who have disappeared from the blogiverse but I rarely mourn them for I remember how many new people I have met and have come to enjoy. Blogging seems to be just like dropping something in water, there is a void initially but it always fills back in.

Continued best wishes for the EMBLOS,

I have a few folks who seem to come and go--it's always pleasant surprise when they check back in. Honey does have a some challenges ahead of her.

I remember Honey and will certainly go and visit. My continued loving thoughts for you and the EMBLOS.
I have to do some work which requires concentration so may be a bit sparse for a while
